Mounting a flag to your machine gives other riders knowledge, that you are on the dune hill, the track or trail. When you’re out riding the dunes, the last thing you want is to come over a ridge facing a rider coming from the opposite direction.
The solution is to use a motorcycle flag, in fact, they’re required at sand dunes. An important safety measure, flags alert riders to nearby machines. Rising up to six feet in the air, they provide an extra level of visibility that is normally missing from riding on sand dunes and other types of terrain where visibility can be impeded.
